Our time in Thailand was amazing and I loved that we were able to experience different parts of the country - right back from the beginning on the party islands with Chris and Megan, to the chilled art districts in Chiang Mai and its cheap, delicious food - but towards the end, I think we can both admit that we were taking it for granted and needed a change of scene.

Our first day in Kuala Lumpur did not disappoint! As much as I appreciate different environments, I am a self-confessed City Girl and felt more at home in Kuala Lumpur. That being said, the city is so beautiful and is considered to be the greenest in all of Malaysia - modern, high rise buildings exist beside tropical forestry. Judging from first impressions, KL may be one of my favourite places ever visited.
